Cultivating A Culture of Sustainability & Environmentalism at GESS

At GESS, what our students learn outside the classroom is no less important than what they do within. We believe in cultivating our next generations into environmentally conscious individuals, who are aware and passionate about what they can do for the planet!

Earth Day in April 2025 saw schoolwide efforts in celebrating the special day. Our students wrote heartfelt poems and checked in on the crops they planted at our Urban Sensory Garden. Preschool invited parents to join in the celebration, presenting activities for the little ones in the lovely outdoors.

We also hosted a dynamic panel discussion on Implementing Sustainability at GESS, led by the Green & Care Committee of the Student Council, Director of Operations and Customer Experience Jason Hoppner, and guest speakers from ALBA Recycling, NTO Group Vietnam and Commenhers.
