Cultural Exchange Through Sports: Swim Clinic with the German National Swim Team

Our GESS swimmers trained with elite athletes from the German National Swim Team in our Olympic-sized pool. Students gained firsthand tips, stories, and encouragement from professionals competing at the highest level. Organised as part of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Germany, the event highlighted GESS’s unique role as a cultural bridge. It was made even more special by the presence of Her Excellency Dr Bettina C. Fanghänel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Singapore, who welcomed participants to a memorable day of sport and cultural exchange.
