Recognising Staff For Contributions

As an employer of choice in the education sector, GESS employees and their contributions to the community are not forgotten. We celebrate and recognise all staff who are also valuable members of our closely-knitted community. Every year, an Award for Outstanding Achievements aims to recognise exceptional contributions and achievements made by our dedicated staff members across pedagogical, administrative and support functions. Nominations are invited for categories of:

Creativity and Innovation
• Introduction of new, innovative teaching methods or support processes that have led to improved results, advancements in performance or efficiency and improved customer experience
• Development of innovative teaching materials or support solutions that set new standards of excellence

Commitment and Dedication
• Exceptional commitment to pedagogical delivery or support tasks beyond standard expectations
• Notable and proactive engagement in extracurricular endeavours or projects that significantly enhance the educational experience and/or school community

Collaboration and Teamwork
• Demonstrated extraordinary collaboration with colleagues and superiors to achieve common goals
• Notable support or assistance to peers within teaching or support functions in overcoming challenges

Professionalism and Excellence
• Demonstration of the highest standards of conduct and performance in teaching or support functions
• Exemplary dedication to ongoing professional development and pursuit of personal and professional growth

Contribution to School Culture and Community
• Playing a pivotal role in promoting an outstanding educational and operational environment, leading by example in school-wide events or initiatives
• Extraordinary contribution to promoting diversity, inclusion, and intercultural understanding within the school community
