GESS Parent Academy – Helping Parents Grow Lifelong Readers

As part of our GESS Parent Academy series, our teacher and advocate for literacy Shameer Bismilla presented to parents in March 2024 on how to promote a reading culture at home, the transformative power of reading, and its profound impact on our children’s journey, particularly in this age of rapid technological advancements.

The GPA is a signature series of workshops designed to provide parents valuable learning opportunities to support their child’s educational journey. Through these workshops, parents will gain insights into the teaching and learning philosophy of GESS while learning valuable techniques and strategies used to support their child’s development.
