A key factor in our students’ academic success is proficiency in the core languages of instruction. Over the next five years, GESS aims to increase our students’ proficiency in the core languages of English (IB Curriculum) and German (Deutsches Curriculum) through greater language support resources, enhanced language teaching and innovation. Students will benefit from more personalised core language teaching and individualised support.
Languages are a major part of our community with over 70 languages spoken. GESS celebrates this diversity and strongly supports giving our students roots to their culture. Through the Limitless Learning Plan, our students will benefit from more language choices, including strengthening our mother tongue language programmes and connections to students’ roots.
