Continued Homeroom Teacher Support for Grade 6

At GESS, we recognise that middle school is a transformative period in your child’s life. Progressing from Grade 5 to 6, our students will detect differences – and likely more challenges – at school. From AY2023/2024, to give them the best social-emotional and academic support through this phase, homeroom teachers will continue to be their beacon of support through Semester 1 in Grade 6. This not only helps them ease into the new routines of Middle School, but serves as a bridge of communication among students, subject teachers and parents during this transition.
