“What Makes Great Teachers Great”: Professional Development for our Educators

GESS believes in limitless learning not only for our students, but also for our educators and faculty members who constantly get opportunities to train and upskill themselves. This helps them stay the best in their fields, to in turn deliver the best education to their students.

In early November 2023, we had a workshop for faculty members on “What Makes Great Teachers Great: Who Are They and How Do We Assess Them?”, conducted by James Stronge, President and CEO of Stronge and Associates Educational Consulting. His research interests include policy and practice related to teacher quality and effectiveness, teacher and administrator evaluation, and teacher selection, having worked on many global projects.

There will be more training and courses in GESS’ professional development pipeline for our faculty members, towards our commitment in high quality teaching and human resources.
